Big Snow Mountain

In Chinese culture, the “Big Snow” (大雪, Dàxuě) is one of the 24 solar terms in the traditional lunar calendar. It usually is around December 7th or 8th each year, marking the period when the weather becomes significantly colder, and snow begins to accumulate more heavily in the northern parts of China.

Big Snow Mountain is a nod to the seasons and energies of winter.
