Justice Cup

This pitcher is called a justice cup because it makes the tea equal for everyone.

As tea leaves the pot, the strength can change from the beginning of the pour to the end.

If I pour directly into three cups, each person may receive a slightly different tea.

Instead, I pour everything into the justice cup first. This blends the tea together before I serve it.

Now every guest receives the same color, strength, and flavor.

That is the meaning of justice in Gong Fu tea: no cup is treated better than another.
