Five teas, five afternoons. Like flipping through a tea library one shelf at a time.
This is how I'd want a friend to start. Each little sachet is one full gong fu session: four ripe teas, silky and smooth, and one raw, grassy and lively. Taste them side by side and you'll learn what you like, no guessing and no big cake sitting in the cupboard.
What's inside
- Big Snow Mountain, Ripe (2013, 15g): apricot, woody, thick. Full-size: Big Snow Mountain cake
- Big Snow Essence, Ripe (2000, 15g): earthy, old wood, clean. Full-size: Big Snow Essence cake
- Angel's Nest Mini Tuo Cha, Ripe (2008, 5 mini tuos): malty, soft, easy. Full-size: Angel's Nest
- Mang Fei Shan, Raw (2003, 15g): grassy, honey, lively. Full-size: Mang Fei Shan Raw
- Mang Fei Shan, Ripe (2003, 15g): date, smooth, warming. Full-size: Mang Fei Shan Ripe
Good to know
- Origin of the teas: Lincang, Yunnan, China
- Five teas, about 12 steeps each (10 to 15 depending on the tea)
- A QR code on the insert card for each tea shows you how to brew it
- Any small vessel works: a gaiwan, a little pot, even a mug
How to taste: Rinse each tea once for 5 seconds, pour it off, then steep. Start with the ripes and finish with the raw. When the steeps get weak, just steep longer.
Shipping: Free in the US. Ships within 2 to 5 days. International orders pay shipping at checkout.
